MUS - 121 Music Theory II

Prerequisite: MUS - 120 Music Theory I, with final grade of C or higher, or permission of instructor.
This course will examine in more detail the harmonic element of music. Discussions will include the harmonic progression, modulation, and specific types of seventh chords as they relate to 18th century counterpoint. Students will meet three days a week for one hour.
