MAP - 401 Medical Law and Ethics

Presentation of legal implications and ethical considerations pertaining to practice in an ambulatory health care setting. The course encourages the student to demonstrate critical thinking based on knowledge of academic subject matter required for competence in the medical assisting profession. Students will learn to incorporate the cognitive knowledge in performance of the psychomotor and affective domains in their practice as a medical assistant in providing patient care.
