Corequisite: MAT - 121 College Algebra or MAT - 128 Precalculus or MAT - 134 Trigonometry and Analytic Geometry or MAT - 210 Calculus I ; or higher. Development of skills, standards, and orderly methods of solving engineering problems. SI and English measurement and unit conversion. Estimation and calculation with approximate numbers. Significant figures. Graphing and curve-fitting of technical data. Using logarithmic and trigonometric functions. Introduction to engineering economics and statistics. Solution of engineering problems using computer programming languages.
