EGR - 192 Engineering Graphics and Design (3 s.h.)
Corequisite: MAT - 121 College Algebra or MAT - 128 Precalculus or MAT - 134 Trigonometry and Analytic Geometry or MAT - 210 Calculus I ; or higher. The course integrates the fundamentals of engineering graphics, with computer-aided design (CAD), and engineering design. The student will produce CAD drawings of orthographic views and isometric pictorials; and include basic dimensioning. The student will learn the techniques for visualizing, analyzing and communicating 3-D geometries. The skills will be applied through creative design projects with written, visual and oral reports.
