PSY - 281 Educational Psychology (3 s.h.)
Prerequisite: PSY - 121 Developmental Psychology or PSY - 223 Child and Adolescent Psychology , (Education students must take PSY 223 ). Educational psychology applies the accumulated knowledge of human cognition and behavior from the field of psychology to the theory and practice of teaching and learning. This course will be taught from a research perspective to facilitate student comprehension of teaching theories and how they can be applied in the classroom.
