PTA - 120 Kinesiology (3 s.h.)
Prerequisite: BIO - 206 Anatomy and Physiology I with a grade of C or higher. This course provides a basic understanding of normal human body movement as related to skeletal, articular, neurological, and muscular systems. Levers, torques, center of gravity, base of support, and their relationship to balance, posture, and movement will be addressed. The student will learn the basics of human gait.
