CHM - 110 Introduction to Chemistry (3 s.h.)
Prerequisites: MAT - 063 Elementary Algebra with a grade of C or higher, or equivalent ALEKS score. This course is intended for non-science majors or for science majors who need a background in chemistry before taking General Chemistry I. Topics covered include measurement, dimensional analysis, periodicity, atomic structure, chemical bonding, inorganic nomenclature, solution chemistry, stoichiometry, gases, intermolecular forces, equilibrium and acids and bases.
