MFG - 419 Jig and Fixtures (4 s.h.)
Prerequisite: MFG - 208 Machine Theory II and MFG - 231 Machine Operations II , or instructor approval. This course covers the theory of design and machining practices as they relate to jigs and fixtures used in manufacturing facilities. It introduces students to the importance of jig and fixture classification and to their uses in modern machine tools.
