DSL - 142 Electrical Systems

Prerequisite: DSL - 101 Diesel Shop Safety, or instructor approval.
This course provides instruction in the theory, diagnosis, and service of diesel starting, charging, and accessory electrical systems. It also covers electrical circuit testing, fault identification, and the use of industry‑standard diagnostic tools and techniques to perform proper electrical system repairs. Instruction in diesel starting, charging, and accessory electrical systems and components. An emphasis is placed on electrical system diagnosis and electrical repair. Includes using various industry standard diagnostic electrical equipment and testing techniques.
