DSL - 806 Class A CDL Driving Course

Prerequisite: DSL - 101 Diesel Shop Safety or instructor approval.
This course provides instruction in the safety practices, vehicle operation procedures, and driving skills required to meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) entry‑level driver training standards for obtaining a Class A Commercial Driver’s License. It also includes vehicle inspections, basic control maneuvers, and on‑road driving skills, preparing learners for entry‑level employment in occupations requiring a Class A CDL. This course is designated as a pass/no‑pass course.
