MFG - 500 Statistical Process Control

Prerequisites: IND - 190 Skills and Safety in Industry; or instructor approval.
Introduction to the core concepts of variability and statistical process control. The student will develop the ability to utilize the basic SPC tools and charting techniques, monitor and interpret charts, and exercise statistical methods for continuous improvement. The course covers current transformation methods of industry and business toward a complete quality control system.
