This course emphasizes proper weld safety, machine setup, and Gas Metal Arc Welding–Short-Circuiting (GMAW-S) techniques. Students perform American Welding Society–compliant welds on carbon steel in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions, meeting industry standards.
