Prerequisite: IND - 190 Skills and Safety in Industry or instructor approval.
This course emphasizes proper weld safety, machine setup, and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) spray transfer techniques. Students perform American Welding Society–compliant welds on carbon steel in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions, meeting industry standards.
