WEL - 262 Thermal Cutting Processes I - Manual and Mechanized OxyFuel Cutting: SENSE1

Corequisite: IND - 190 Skills and Safety in Industry or instructor approval.
This course emphasizes proper safety, equipment setup, and both manual and mechanized Oxy-Fuel cutting techniques on carbon steel. Students perform American Welding Society–compliant cutting operations in the flat position and execute scarfing and gouging to remove base and weld metal in flat and horizontal orientations.
