Prerequisite: CFR - 100 Introduction to Computer Forensics or permission of instructor. This course deals with the preservation, identification, extraction, documentation and interpretation of computer data. Topics covered include conducting a complete investigation using the terminal and command prompt from various operating systems. The course also covers detailed report writing and using additional tools to acquire images and live information from various systems.
