MFG - 380 EDM Fundamentals

Prerequisites/Corequisites: MFG - 302 CNC Fundamentals with a grade of C or higher, and MFG - 424 Jig and Fixtures.

The students are introduced to the electrical discharge machines, both wire and ram-type. Emphasis on how these tools are used in the manufacturing of punch and die components and injection mold cores and cavities.
