General Education Electives

North Iowa Area Community College considers education to be the foundation of a democratic society. At the core of the educational experience is general education, an ongoing endeavor that engages students in acquiring the knowledge and tools necessary to understand their environment and contribute to their communities.

General Education Electives for Career Programs

Students earning an A.A.S. or diploma may choose from the above General Education courses or from select courses in the Career Technical area, unless following a prescribed program curriculum. Requirements vary according to the academic program selected. Please consult with an advisor or a faculty member for further information.
