Industrial Technician Certificate

The Industrial Technician is a Certificate program designed to prepare the graduate for immediate employment as an industrial machinery mechanic or machinery maintenance worker in a variety of settings where large machinery is crucial to the operation of a facility.

Completion of this program prepares graduate to enter the following occupations:

- Industrial Process Control Technician

Employment Outlook
Employment of industrial machinery mechanics is projected to grow 14 percent from 2021 to 2031, much faster than the average for all occupations. The increased adoption of sophisticated manufacturing machinery will require more mechanics to keep machines in good working order. Upon successful completion of the curriculum with a minimum overall cumulative grade point average of 2.00 (C) including a 2.00 (C) cumulative grade point average in all course work at NIACC, the student is awarded a Certificate.
