The Advanced Industrial Technician is a Diploma program designed to continue the preparation of the Industrial Technician by increasing the skill set of the worker. Graduates are positioned in accelerate their advancement within the company.
Completion of this program prepares graduate to enter the following occupations:
Industrial Maintenance Technician
Industrial Process Control Technician
Control Systems Technician
Computer Automated Process Control Technician
Employment of industrial machinery mechanics is projected to grow 14 percent from 2021 to 2031, much faster than the average for all occupations. The increased adoption of sophisticated manufacturing machinery will require more mechanics to keep machines in good working order. Upon successful completion of the Advanced Industrial Technician curriculum with a grade point average of 2.00 (C) or higher, the student is awarded a Diploma.
