General Machinist Diploma


Unleash the power of precision with our General Machinist Diploma!

In just two action-packed semesters, you’ll dive deep into the art of metal machining, developing skills with manual mills, lathes, grinders, drills, and saws.  With each project, you’ll push the boundaries of precision and finesse, wielding advanced tools to complete increasingly complex projects while holding tight tolerances.

But that’s not all! 

Students also navigate through blueprint reading, heat-treating, precision measurement, design and the electrifying world of CNC machining.  This hands-on program sets the stage for your ascent into our Associate in Applied Science for Tool and Die Technology!

Upon successful completion of the General Machinist curriculum with a grade point average of 2.00 (C) or higher, the student is awarded a Diploma. Program graduates have the option to continue into the A.A.S. Tool and Die Technology program or immediately begin employment in a machine shop or manufacturing facility producing a wide variety of machine parts.
