Pharmacy is an ever-growing health field, always looking for trained technicians dedicated to providing quality care for patients. NIACC’s Pharmacy Technician program utilizes the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) curriculum and prepares the student to become a certified pharmacy technician, working in a licensed pharmacy and under the responsibility of a licensed pharmacist. Pharmacy technicians play a pivotal role in assisting in the technical functions of the practice of pharmacy, including reading and interpreting prescriptions, recognizing generic and brand name drugs, and understanding pharmacy terminology. The NHA ExCPT Exam is included in this course.
