Health Science - Year One Pathway

Care for people, promote health, and help your community thrive. Develop teamwork skills and support individuals in need of diagnostic procedures, therapy, and medical care. This pathway is designed to help you move toward transfer or employment as a nurse, physical therapist assistant, repertory therapy, medical transcription, medical assistant, medical laboratory technician, radiographer, or surgical technologist.

Preparing for Year Two
After completing the Health Science - Year One Pathway, students can move into the following Year Two Pathways. Some pathways require that you take specific courses in the first year and these recommendations are listed below.

Most health programs have their own specific set of prerequisite courses needed for acceptance. Please check the course catalog for specifics and scores needed for placement into certain Natural Science courses.
