PTA - 501 PTA Clinic II

Prerequisite: PTA - 230 Rehab for Medical Conditions, PTA - 241 Neurology for PTA, and PTA - 250 PTA Career Essentials.
Eight-week, full-time clinical experience. Skills, knowledge, and attitudes learned in all completed PTA course work will be applied to direct patient care in selected clinical settings. Includes application/integration of all PTA course work with goal of student consistently and efficiently providing safe, quality care with uncomplicated to complex patients and a moderate to low degree of supervision/guidance except when addressing new and highly complex situations. This course has been designated as a pass/no pass course.
