ART - 130 Introduction to Computer Animation (3 s.h.)
Prerequisite: ART - 115 Graphic Design This course is designed to enable students to explore the fundamental principles and elements of 2-D animation or motion graphics through studio practices. Motion graphics are pieces of animation and generally mean animated videos or motion designs. Animation consists of compositing and adding effects to video, sound, montage, and animated design. Students learn how to use Adobe After Effects and Adobe Aminate to create animated designs with sound effects. This project-based course not only helps students to learn industrial software but also gains conceptual and analytical thinking skills to accomplish assigned animation projects.
