Prerequisites: WEL - 244 Gas Metal Arc Welding Short Circuit Transfer: SENSE1; WEL - 274 Shielded Metal Arc Welding I: SENSE1; and IND - 190 Skills and Safety in Industry or instructor approval.
This course emphasizes the application of previously acquired welding skills to fabricate metal projects from drawings or blueprints. Students interpret fabrication procedures and perform cutting, bending, and assembly operations, meeting industry standards.
