MFG - 159 Die Maintenance and Repair

Prerequisites: MFG - 380 EDM Fundamentals; MFG - 407 Basic Die Making; MFG - 411 Progressive Die Design; or instructor approval.
Corequisites: MFG - 162 Mold Maintenance and Repair; or instructor approval.
This course is a continuation of Basic Die Making where students will learn how to properly maintain a die for storage and long term use as well as make simple repairs and adjustments. Students will learn how to weld high and low carbon steels and use EDM to make repairs.
