AVI - 308 Instrument Instructor Flight Lab (2 s.h.)
Prerequisite: Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating (or higher) in the appropriate category and class. Corequisite: AVI - 307 Instrument Instructor Ground School This course develops the in-flight skills and teaching techniques required of a Flight Instructor–Instrument (CFII), with emphasis on applying instrument procedures while instructing in actual and simulated instrument conditions. Students practice teaching from the right seat while performing IFR flight planning, instrument departures, en route navigation, holding, approaches, and missed approaches, integrating risk management and debriefing techniques to prepare for the CFII practical test.
