CRJ - 120 Introduction to Corrections (3 s.h.)
Prerequisite: CRJ - 100 Introduction to Criminal Justice . An introduction to the philosophy and history of corrections, identifying multiple facets of the correctional system, including: jails and detention facilities, probation, intermediate sanctions, imprisonment and parole. This course focuses on how today’s correctional subsystems function within a larger criminal justice system.
