Basic Automotive Undercarriage Certificate

The Basic Automotive Undercarriage Certificate prepares the individual for entry-level employment in the automotive service industry. The program provides coursework in suspension, steering and brake systems. The curriculum within this certificate aligns with the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Automobile and Light Truck Certification Tests.
The Automotive Service Technology program is accredited by the National Automotive Technician Education Foundation and has full Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification. Students are encouraged to take the appropriate ASE certification exams.
Visit with a NIACC program advisor for additional certificate options and more information on how to stack certificates to be applied toward a diploma and Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Automotive Service Technology.
Upon successful completion of the Basic Automotive Undercarriage curriculum with a grade point average of 2.00 (C) or higher, the student is awarded a Certificate.
