Corequisites: MFG - 110 3-D Modeling; MFG - 130 Machine Trade Printreading II; MFG - 208 Machine Theory II; MFG - 231 Machine Operations II; MFG - 302 CNC Fundamentals; or instructor approval.
This course continues with a review of geometric figures, compound angles, and trigonometry to solve shop problems. The use of the calculator and Machinery’s Handbook tables and formulas are continued. It covers practical vocational and technical applications of mathematical concepts necessary to excel in the machine, tool and die, and tool design industry. Topics are reinforced with realistic industry-related examples, illustrations, and actual applications.
